Arnis, also known as Kali or Eskrima, is the national sport and martial art of the Philippines. New classes of Arnis are going to be introduced in Malta  by Adrian  & Alana Axisa. These classes  are suitable for Children & Adults and will include the traditional and modern ways. The objective is for self defence and also for those who are interested there is the competitive edge which include padded stick  competitions which is very safe and suitable for both Children and adults alike and then there is the more realistic arnis/escrima competition with full protective equipment. The competitive side does not require a long time to learn but for those who are seeking to learn the traditional ways of the art takes longer. The idea of Adrian and Alana for 2019 is to create an Arnis event including a competition  in Malta and by the end of the year to compete internationally with a Malta team. International mentors   and coaches are grand master John Harvey who is  4 times World Champion and grand master jude tucker  who is 3 times World Champion.
